In order to encourage our Medicare patients to take advantage of their free annual wellness visits and to "keep all motors running", we are partnering with the Moore County Family Health Clinic to entering our eligible Medicare patients who get their annual visits into multiple drawings for oil changes, car maintenance giveaways, blood pressure monitors, and more.

 

Annual Wellness Visits are free for people with traditional Medicare, and the deductible will be waived for this visit.

 

Medicare recipients receive one free Annual Wellness Visit per year  (twelve (12) months after your last annual wellness visit or twelve (12) months after your first Preventative Physical Exam.)

 

Annual Wellness Visits are available via Telehealth by local Dumas providers in response to the COVID pandemic.

 

Annual Wellness Visits develop or update your personalized prevention plan, which is based on your current health & any risk factors you may have.  Your doctor will discuss or review a variety of risk assessments designed to help keep you healthy at this visit.

 

Note: Treatment of injuries, an acute illness, or chronic illness is not included in an Annual Wellness Visit. You will also not be prescribed or receive a medication refill at this exam.  You may ask for these services, but since Medicare does not cover them in the Medicare Annual Wellness Visit, you will be charged for them as a regular visit.
